Picasso with metal sculpture of Jacqueline Roque

Picasso loved to experiment with different materials – wood, ceramic, concrete – in fact anything he could lay hands on. He used a local metalworker to cut the sheet steel to his design and then painted the surface. This work is a portrait of his wife Jacqueline.
